Blagojevich names Obama successor anyway
Despite it all, embattled Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has named a replacement for President-elect Barack Obama’s senate seat. Blagojevich reportedly has named former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris (D) to the open seat.
