The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security posts a “DHS Business Opportunities Newsletter” on its website  – http://www.homeland.house.gov/  It lists upcoming events and upcoming opportunities, as well as “forecast opportunities”.

What’s your state doing with its stimulus funding?

All but four states (NS, SD, MS, SC) have their recovery websites up and running, with varying amounts of detail provided.  Most provide news updates, and some level of information about jobs and projects being funded, information about how to apply for project funding, and general contact information.  Link to any of the state sites [...]

Federal Reserve’s Beige Book Paints a Gloomy Picture

The Federal Reserve has released its bi-monthly “Beige Book”  containing anecdotal information on current economic conditions.  Check it out at www.federalreserve.gov/fomc/beigebook/2009/default.htm
